Man, you guys are tripping who think Zombie's directing sucks. I'd like to know what awesome horror movies you're watching that puts his to shame.

I'm excited about this. I really liked Zombie's Halloween, and the original Halloween is one of my favorite movies.

People trip off the gritty textural style of his films. He likes filming in that 70's style of filming with big cigarette burns and hose lines on the screen. It just doesn't equate well to audiences not familiar with his preferences.

I WAS THINKING THE SAME...IF HE SUCKS, THE REST OF THESE HORROR DIRECTORS ARE'NT DOING ANY MUCH BETTER THAN HIM.
