I agree we should do something mayne, your right he is an Original Bay Area Boss, we should do like a compulation with all proceeds go to the family for the cost of the funeral...every rapper we can get a hold of... there is no money to be made for the rappers it would be like a donation from who ever want to be on the comp...then all the money from sellin the CD can go to the Hicks family....

The effect of this as at any time you learn of someone's passing is just to much to want to comprehend right now. The man put his stamp on his profession, alot of people rap...some would say too many...not many are as clever as Dre was nor have many enjoyed what they do like he did, that I can say without ever having met the man. I grew up on him as I did on Too Short and many others. This is such a sad day it's hard to put into words. The bay is like a family.... we always have issues and we go through our bad times but in the end we got love for each other and want the best for each other it's crazy the amount of talent the bay has lost, nevermind the type of individuals outside of music. From Coungnut to Mr. Cee, Rappin Ron, Eclipse, Seagram, 1/2 of Black Dynasty, now Dre...
