I CHECKED DEF JAMS WEBSITE AND THEY DON'T HAVE RICHIE RICH AS AN ARTIST ON THERE BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY HE WOULD ADVERTISE THOSE SONGS AS DEF JAM SONGS ON HIS MYSPACE. EITHER WAY IT GOES I HOPE HE JUST DROPS SOMETHING NEW INDEPENDANT OR NOT.

Step out of it. There's no reason for this to happen. Richie Rich is an awesome artist and I am a huge fan of his since the early 90's, but he hasn't created a buzz (or a good solid album or single) for almost 10 years now, get real. Def Jam won't waste any money for an artist that isn't hot right now.

^^^for real, it would be tight even tho i thought the last projects he had like the "nixon pryor roundtree" and that compilation were just fast stuff to keep his name out there. but he's still one of my favorites cuz "don't do it" was the shit. him gettin back wit def jam would be a good look. guess we'll see what happens wit all that.
