He is saying that Long Overdue doesnt have the same feel as the other releases by Sick Wid It in that same time frame (Federal, Tryin to get a Buck, Heat 4 Yo Azz, etc.). And i agree. I thought Long Overdue wasnt that great.
ok, it doessnt sound the same, but your a fool jesse if if you dont recoginize it it as a bay classic..its sound is out there, but here thats what serperates iit

Wuddup y'all. Rhythmx is now on iTunes thanks to JohnnyZ. Search: Rhythm X. I'm still on $ickWid'It Records, but more as a producer. I'm in The Pharmaceuticals production team with my homey Eric, under the name, BIGHANDZ. Lookout for alot of music this year done by us. I'm also a tour/road manager for ONEBLOCKRADIUS on Mercury/Island/DefJam for my bwoy, Marty James. I been doin music with MartyJames and JohnnyZ since 1996 and Marty and I are still tryin to help bring the bay back this year in whatever way we can......And yes, old Rhythmx music was a little happy, but that's who I was and am. I was always more into partying and havin fun than talkin about the dopegame, etc.. but that's just me.. I had alot of mobbmusic for that album but it was decided by St.Charles, 40 and myself to have more of a club/radio feel since every other artist on $WR at that time was mobb. To each his own. I've always been in the backround of all $WR releases from input of game, lingo, lyrics, direction, etc... and I always will. $ickWid'It Records is MY FAMILY and always will be, FOR LIFE. I was the first artist signed to $ickWid'It and will be the last artist standing. We met through Toby Thurman and Adam Bullock in 1989 and I put in my dues with 40 and Bila since then. I don't regret one thing about it. This is who I am, The muthafuckin RHYTHMX, $ickWid'It soldier, fo life....learn about it youngskins!!!!! Thanks to all for the support for all the years and lookout for us this year. We've got alot of great news and exciting shit goin on..... GoodLuck to everybody from the Bay that's trying to bring the industry noise back...Til then..Peace, Thug & Pro$$$perity to all, Rhythmx/Raytona500

p.s. on iTunes search: Rhythm X and also on iTunes search: Reservoir Hoggz for music I did with Paulay. Thank you for ur support. Yep.

True. I still have that album on tape! I was a street rep for SMG and they sent it to me as a promo with no J-Card back in '94. A couple years later I went to SMG with Lauchlan from 4080 and St. Charles dug up a J-Card for me while we were there.

Sidenote: Rhythm's old manager was the nephew of my high school PE teacher in Novato. I went in her office one day and saw the Rhythmx Long Overdue poster on her wall and tripped the fuck out. She actually gave me the poster 'cause I was a fan. Small world.
