I first heard "The way you feel" on dat "City Of Dope" compliation in 96.
Since then, I've been hooked....
Woodie had the dopest shit out....You could tell he was real because you felt it....
My heart goes out to him and his Familia....
His music helped get thru all the bullshit in this fucked up world...
I Thank Him for that.
I'm buying all his albums and I'm ol represent his life....

This is some fucked up news. Can't say I was a huge follower of woodies music, but I dug just about everything I heard from him. I only met him once briefly, but he seemed like cool ass folks and someone who acually gave two shits about his fans. A great producer, rapper and genuinely cool cat. It's sad to see another respected bay artist gone before his time. My prayers are with his friends, family
and everyone at ECCR, keep your heads up. Much respect wood, you'll be missed.
