Resident Evil 4....greatest game of all time?

ok ok ok im being an asshole. thats uncalled for. kodoggs cool....but yeah, i did get pretty far in re4 because i didnt have an xbox and i bought it hella late..maybe last year..i did the whole killing the seamonster in the boat shit and the dissapearing ude with the cloak on and all that shit...what i was talking about kodogg is the trippiness factor of the new re...i almost played re4 half of the time on shrooms for a good moment cuz that and katamari is all i had new for ps2 as far as trippy games..it was fun but eventually i got a gamecube kicked down and got an xbox and..you know...i will try re4 on wii tho. one thing i do gotta say tho, is im a fan of the original game.like i love super mario 3 but without super mario it would have never happened much less mario brothers. so i always kinda go for the og version of a game. the dog jumping out of the window in re1 scared the shit out of me.
so ill always have a soft spot for re1 really.

does it have the gun thing you put on the wii remote? that was really the only reason i wanted it.

Yeah i dont think RE4 would be as tight if it wasnt played on the WII.. The controls on the WII for that game is PERFECT.. If i had played the game on the PS2 or Game Cube first then maybe i wouldnt of liked it as much.. But something about usein the WII-mote to pop heads is jus so fun lol.

and shit, i thought the dude that was hustlein guns was hella dope.. I liked it a lot better then how it is in RE5 where you buy em at the end of every chapter.. It made it seem more like a survival horror game wit' that dude scattered around the map.. Yeah, RE5 is defiantly not a survival horror game, and neither is RE4, but atleast RE4 has some aspects of the genre.

have you tried the gamecube resident evil 1? that is by far the scariest game ive ever played. i almost shit myself when a zombie got up and RAN at me. i first seen him through this corodor of mirrors, so here is me with little to no ammo, running while this fool is booking it at me in the mirror, and i know hes gonna actually pop up soon, all i need to do is make it 30 feet to the door and go find ammo.

^ my only problem with re5 is the movement, i just wanna break my fuckin controller...they walk like sherm heads..but thats why ive played the first level like 3 times...you gotta get used to running and turning around and shit like that. the first level you gotta shoot gas tankers and uppercut the dude while hes down..i had no idea and was gettin mashed on for like an entire week on the demo

i think one thing they wanted to get across in re5 was like a 'survival' element where it wasnt easy for you to get away from it and you have to use some wits, like you gotta shoot different shit or whatever. i kinda like is since recently i bought mirrors edge and that shits almost entirely an evasive type game...once i figure out how to get to my knife a little better ill be happy. and its nice to have the chick helping you out.

im gonna like co op mode more so im waiting till i have somoene to run through the game w

im pretty sure you can run through the game with a buddy online, so if you wanna get down on that let me know, ill smash through it with whoever

i got a gamecube hella late. around the time ps2 fizzled out and wii and xbox just came out. so i dont really got games for it like that. i got paper mario luigis mansion mario sunshine and one of the zeldas, it aint in front of me..prolly a few other games i forgot about..i need to cop mario kart too thats one of my favorites and my little cousin beasted on me in mario kart and i was so mad

i had ps2 the whole time tho never bothered getting a gamecube? nintendo was just known to be too kiddy to me i was sitll pissed about zelda 64..i hated that shit

you can play gc games on the wii but you need a usb gc controller and the cords on them are fuckin short.

well hit up goozex.com, you get points for joining which add up to a free game, you can send in games to get points and use those points on a game. thats how i got all my gamecube shit.

i cant even play re 5 drunk, i tryed the other night and shut it off with 2 mins. in one of the resident evils they have a 180 turn button ( re 3?) it made it so much easier to turn and shoot. re 5 is dope tho, i just wish it was chris alone and no shiva. i have never seen and AI waste so much ammo and herbs. i can go levels using a limited amounts of ammo, head shot punch stab on the ground but this fuckin bitch wastes 30 bullets on 3 zombies. i give shiva a pistol with 20 bullets and if she cant make it oh well.

you can 180 turn in RE5, i was doin' it all the time when me and my homie was playing. i think it is back on the left analog stick and a. i might be wrong, but what im not wrong about is...there is definitely a 180 move on RE5.

Fuck.. I went out and bought that WII Perfect Shot by Nyko.. Got home and realized it wasn't gonna work well with 3rd person shooters.. lol you gotta use the trigger button to aim then reach all the way to the top of the gun and use the a button to shoot, all while holding the nunchuck in god who knows what hand lol..

Good thing i didnt open it up.. I sorta feel stupid for not realizing it wasn't gonna work before i got all the way home.. oh well, i'am jus gonna return it and pick up Red Faction later today.. But fuck, i'm on the last mission of Ada's Separate ways.. I love how everything on her part is being explained.. RE4 has a great story, but it was very confuseing 'till i played thru Separate ways lol.. I'am gonna finish up that last mission and then play thru on Professional mode when i get home from work today..





btw anyone know of a wii-gun that works well for RE4 or other 3rd person shooters?
