West Ninth neighborhood: Oscar Gutierrez Diaz, 17, a norteño, is shot and killed in west Santa Rosa by William Dominguez, a sureño, according to Santa Rosa police. Gang slogans and signs were exchanged before Dominguez raised a shotgun and shot Diaz in the face, police said. Gang investigators say the intense rivalry between leaders of the two most powerful prison gangs -- Nuestra Familia and Mexican Mafia -- is fueling the street killings.
