Yall gotta think outside of southeast and southbay(mind you i live in eastlake so obviously a spot in plaza would be more convenient for me)...theres fans of local hip hop that live north of the 8 freeway...Mission Valley is probably the most popular mall in SD it gets the tourists it gets the locals yes it also gets a bunch of annoying jr high kids but its a MALL that goes with the territory
i dont even go to mission valley. thats why i never checked that siccness kiosk out.
mission valley is fashion valleys wack ass little brother.
niggas go to mission valley when they make wrong turns and shit.
and jr seau left our town anyway so i dont even fuck with seau's if its still there
shit is up there with parkway plaza
plaza bonita is definately the spot i been goin there since i was a kid we used to WALK to plaza bonita to go to the arcade when rays shut down
i mean you aint gon choose mission valley over fashion valley when theyre both so close. thats how i see it.
i still go to plaza bonita to this day on weekends to get a philly cheese steak and a smoothie..they used to have screw tapes there too in one of them lil clothing stores.
and plaza bonita has been PACKED this year...i dunno if its because of less parking spaces or what, but its been poppin. too many outside malls. plaza bonita feels liek a real mall, not a upscale 'marketplace'
most of the sd rappers that post here..ive seen at plaza bonita..but no where else... if you grew up in san diego, plaza bonita has a deep history.

all that is good and well but when that shit was open i remember the thread on here about it and almost all the posters mentioned that they didnt always feel like going to the bam for their cds....southeast has the bam...thats where you can get the shit if you already are in that region why not go get the other market if it was my business i'd try to hit the market that aint tapped yet(mind you all this shit is a moot point cuz from what i remember Nemo told me that they were more focused on other avenues of business that didnt involve a retail shop)
yeah but it's also cats that come from L.A to go to T.J. point is that cats in southeast that want to get they music on should go on and take a ride down here cause if you look at Mission and the shops they have there it don't really have anything that appeal to the youth as far as shops. plus the security don't like the urban kids.
agreed but if you look at fam bam verses the sicc shop. the bam don't have certain cd's the sicc shop has. yeah if you want to get some dago shit you go to the bam but what about everything else underground? plus you can't get mixtapes at the bam like you can get at the sicc shop. of just say fuck it start a sicc shop in fam bam since they have all the room in the world in that muthafucka.

I PICKED UP A FEW ALBUMS FROM THE SICC SHOP WHEN IT WAS IN MISSION VALLEY. THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I WOULD EVEN GO TO THAT MALL. THEY HAD ALL THE SHIT THERE. IT WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE TO PUT IT AT PLAZA BONITA JUST BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE THAT GO THERE. THEY HAVE MORE STORES THAT APPEAL TO THE HIP HOP AUDIENCE.
