That jigga juice thread got me thinking about regional hood music...LA used to have G-funk, the bay I guess still got Hyphy, Houston's screw music sort of blew up but what about other cities? From my travels this is some of the music I been put up on... yall post shit too of yall favorite non-cali hood music, give your description of the music, reactions too.

Baltimore club music:

Blaqstarr -Get My Gun

Hands up Thumbs down

So this shit was hella mainy when I first heard it, thought it was fruity techno type shit, but bein in Bodymore you get used to this shit and start to like it when you get yo ass to the club and see niggas rockin off, spongebobbin, bitches gettin crazy...it's def. some hype music, wit all the murders in B-more always thought niggas would be on some mobb deef infamous shit but they on this shit.

Chicago Juke music:

K-swiss

DO the 40's

D.C. Gogo music:

UCB - Sexy Lady

TCB - keep it gangsta

Now Gogo been in D.C. for hella long since the 70's, and u gotta give it up to these niggas cuz they some of the only hood niggas in the country that still play live instruments and got links to Africa with the drums and shit. This shit was the hardest shit for me to get used to and it's still hard for me, but again you at the gogo niggas beatin they feet as they say it, and hos gettin loose...what can I say.

We don't have our own music here in Indianapolis.

We either wanna be crunk or do gangsta music. But here is some of our some music anyway.

I fuck around with some of that Bmore stuff. Blaqstarr and Rye Rye are cool.

I guess you can throw that Florida bass sound in the mix, a la 2 Live and 69 Boyz. But then that was back then, I wonder if artists still do that music, lol.

Live instruments are cool as shit.

George Clinton's niece is the future of the PFunk all stars considering George, and most of the OG Funkateers, is up there age wise. But I like how she incorporates funk and hip hop in that vid.

and because someone is going to sooner or later...

If you can understand spanish these guys basically drop hella game to those who listen. Plus most of them have ties to cartels and are as hood as you can get.

personally i cant stand mexican regional music like the rest of these paisas. some of it is cool. but like 98% of it is noise to my ears. I prefer shit like El Tri, Molotov, and Cafe Tacuba. All you my Defectosos know what's up.
