Well Actually, I was correct but not to cause an argument.. I went to school at woodside vato, got alot of homies from both LMG's.. I been hearing though that Little Mexico Gangsta's is right too cause some foo's call it that. But most peeps that I know call it "Little Mexican Gangstas".. A man and four boys have been arrested in connection with what appears to be a gang-related slaying of a 21-year-old Redwood City man outside his home Tuesday afternoon.

Sgt. Defense attorney Raymond Buenaventura said he is still researching the legal issues before deciding whether to file a motion in the case involving Josue Orozco, who authorities believe fired the shot that killed 21-year-old Francisco Rodriguez outside his Redwood Avenue home. Faustino Ayala, 20, also is being charged with the killing, a drive-by shooting July 12.

The arraignments of both defendants have been postponed until Sept. 27, and the two remain in custody without bail.

Three other juveniles also have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Authorities said that all five have identified themselves as being members of the Sureños, and that they shot Rodriguez because they believed he was a member of the rival Norteños.

REDWOOD CITY (KRON) -- Police are searching for suspects in what they are calling a gang related shooting that left a 16-year-old boy dead.

Officials said the victim, whose name is not being released, died at the scene after being shot in the chest.

Police say he was standing on the front porch of a home on the 600 block of Heller St. just after midnight Tuesday, when two or three suspects drove up in a white or gray compact pickup truck with a camper shell.

One passenger got out, walked up to the victim, shot him, and then got back into the truck and drove off, according to police.

Police say they have reason to believe the shooting was gang related.

"I think that it's pretty common when you have one event it often leads to retaliation," said Redwood City police Sgt. Sean Hart.

Hart reported the Redwood City Police Department has only a very limited description of the suspect.

The Police Department does not have any leads in the case but it hopes to develop some during its investigation Monday, which includes interviews with the victim's friends and associates, Hart reported.
