^thats what I was thinkin, for the most part frooty loops is for people too cheap to put any loot into a real setup. I've heard a handful of people make decent shit with it but 9 times outta 10 that shit is straight garbage

YOUVE HEARD SOME OF MY OLDER SHIT I MADE WIT FRUITY AND I HAD YOU CONVINCED REASON WASNT DOIN ENOUGH FOR YOU......YOU HAVENT EVEN HEARD MY LATEST SHIT IVE DONE WIT FRUITY LOOPS WHICH IS 10X BETTER THAN WHAT I SHOWED YOU BEFORE.....ITS ALL IN THE PERSON WORKIN THE CONTROLS....FL ISNT A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT THAN AN MPC JUS A SOFTWARE VERSION AND IT HAS MANY FEATURES THAT I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO WORK YET....IVE HEARD COMMERCIAL BEATS REMADE ON FRUITY AND SOUND EXACTLY SAME AS THE ORIGINAL BEAT....PEOPLE LIKE TO HATE ON IT CUZ THEY HEARD A CRAPPY BEAT MADE BY THE KID NEXT DOOR.....BUT IN THAT PERSPECTIVE IVE HEARD REALLY SHITTY BEATS OFF A TRITON BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN A TRITON SUCCS......

FRUITY LOOPS HAS AN ARPEGGIATOR BUT I DONT THINK YOU CAN PROGRAM IT REALLY SO I DONT FUCC WIT IT....ITS NOT LIKE THE ARP ON THE TRITON.....I SOMETIMES USE THE NOVATION V STATION WHICH IS SUPPOSEDLY AN EXACT VST VERSION OF THE NOVATION K STATION HARDWARE SYNTH...THAT HAS A PRETTY COO ARP YOU CAN PROGRAM SOMEWHAT WITH.....

IN MANY WAYS I BELEIVE FRUITY LOOPS IS BETTER THAN REASON BECUASE OF THE VST AND DXI COMPATIBILITY.....I DONT NEED TO REWIRE OR ANYTHING I CAN JUS RUN THE SOFT SYNTHS DIRECT.... AS MANY AS THE COMPS RAM CAN HANDLE.....

I'm not baggin on you ccytzo, your stuff ain't bad I was talking about of the folks who DL that shit off the net and make rinky dink shit with it without even dropping loot for a MIDI controller. If you got a MIDI controller and some good samples you can pretty much do the same stuff with FL as you can with reason. That VXT support is helpful too I just never got the hang of FLs interface and went right back to reason cuz i was used to it. Everyone has the gear they like and what not, I asked Mark 7 what kind of stuff he has and he listed all this shit but says he makes most his beats with an old ASR10 hes had for years. Whatever works best for that person is the best way to go

BTW Did that beat I gave you ever go anywhere? I always wondered what happened with that

^ forgot what the abbrethation but its pretty much virtual studio gear for your computer. Like synthesizers and samplers etc for example the Moog modular V or notivation V station. Thats pretty much what reason is too. See people want reason to me a multitracker like Cubase or Sonar and the propellarhead people are just never gonna let that happen, if they did reason would probably cost 700 to a thousand bucks.

funny thing is i still aint even copped a midi controller....when i get one im sure itll also make my shit better but i been fuccin wit the triton a lot lately so i aint been on fl too much.....im too lazy to learn but im sure theres a lot more i can be doin wit fl and the triton together if i knew more about midi.....

and that beat is still on the comp at my dads house i beleive....i never did use it and most likely wont jus so you know.....

does anyone know of some vsts that have appregiators? if any program can fuck with the roland appreggios, i'll buy em...

I don't know of any programs that have arps like the roland but I know of two keyboard workstations that DESTROY the roland in this department.


MOTIF ES and the KARMA. They KILL the roland in this section...xp-60 and fantom x....


One of the reasons I snatched the ES was due to it's arps. The only thing I dont like about the arps is you have to set it to "REC ARP" but it's no hassle. The Karma? I've just scratched the surface with that one. I can tell ya right now for scoring/symphony stuff you can do it in 2 minutes flat. Play a C chord, twist a knob or two...or three...or four and change the tempo. It's not an auto keyboard like one that plays back crap. It's on some other shit man.
