i see it like this..rap it apart of hip hop. To me, Hip hop is 1) mc'ing 2) breaking 3) grafitti and 4) DJ'ing...rap comes from hip hop..and although there are different type of rap..and in the bay its gangsta rap..its still part of the hip hop "culture"...put thats just my 2 cents.

exactly...school these youngstas man yall should know that by now. rap is just one of the elements of hip hop. all these muthafuckas out here rappin is hip hop whether they want to be labeled that or not. hip hop is a culture and rap is the music of the culture.
