If Moss even tried to give 50 percent he would have shit all over jerry rice, but he didn't so rice is still king. Moss however is by far the most talented WR to ever touch a field.
lol so youre telling me moss was playing at 25% out there all the time??? Moss couldve gave it his all and still not touched Jerry. Jerry damn near never had a slump in his career for 20 straight seasons. His work ethic is second to none. Guy beasted in the Super Bowl when it mattered most! Randy moss was average in the playoffs. Never compare that quitter randy or any other receiver for the matter to Jerry Rice.

I said most talented, not greatest. Moss has more talent in his braids than Jerry ever possessed. Have you ever seen his combine numbers and such? Rice was never fast, he couldnt jump high but he was just the hardest worker in NFL history and thats why he's the best. Moss however is the most talented receiver to ever touch the field. Jerry himself will tell you that. Moss could (and still can) do things Jerry Rice could only dream about. Too bad he never applied himself like Jerry.

I was a big Moss fan from the begining, dude had freakish talent. One of the most gifted footbal players ever. Dude could have been the best WR ever. It got said on the radio today that I agreed with that he was missing that inner drive to be the best that guys like Rice and Carter had, he was more interested in money and his own hype...I changed my mind about him when he came to the Raiders and he was all but unwilling to play, and I resent him for basically giving up. Moss will be a Hall of Famer, but I dont respect him for his lack of effort.

As far as him "retiring", I think he is calling sitting out a retirement. He wasnt able to get an offer from a team he wanted to go to, and is waiting out another offer. I'd say when October rolls around, and a possible contender needs a WR for around $1 million, he will get a call and accept it.

Listen to yall captains tryin to save Jerry lol misconstruing words dumbass bitches.
how old are you 18??? you must have never seen rice play. the guy was fucken fasssst!!! when he got older and lost a step what hooked him up was that no one can run a route as clean as jerry rice. RIce wasnt going to run down the field and jump higher than everyone to get a ball. he was going to beat you with quick slants and post routes. Footwork no one is touching. Why do you think cats like fitzgerald choose to train with guys like Jerry Rice and not chumps like randy moss. After moss puts his pads to rest for good i garnette no one will be hitting him up to get some pointers from him.

Moss could NEVER give pointers. He doesnt have fundamentals and shit to teach like Rice does. Moss got by on sheer talent. Rice wasnt the fastest receiver in the league, he was quicker than he was fast. He succeeded because of his work ethic, he would have NEVER made it on talent alone. I never said Moss was better than Rice but if he had Rice's work ethic he would have put rice's records to shame. Moss would SMOKE Rice in a footrace wtf you people smokin?

lol imagine if he had tom brady, or even montana/young throwing to him his whole career. everybody knows randy plays when he wants to and when his teams winning, he plays. I can't believe folks are going to actually argue rice was a more talented gifted player lol. The lebron comparison is spot on accurate talent wise. Lebron is the most talented player to ever touch a basketball court but he'll never be the best. At least Randy hates to lose. Lebron doesnt.

imagine tim brown with montana and steve young throwing him the ball his whole career. dude posted great numbers while never having a decent QB until gannon and gannon was all about short passes.

That probably has to do with the fact that Moss doesn't like to train lol. So why would anybody want to train with somebody who has terrible work ethic?

Moss was more talented than Rice. Rice was a better WR and had a better career. Doesn't matter how much talent, or potential, you have if you're not going to do everything you can to get the most out of it.

Rice>Moss

I'm not arguing about who is more talented?? even though i clearly think its Jerry. Im talking about football talent not track and field talent. What I'm arguing about is the moron that said if moss gave it his all he would have shit on Jerry's records. That's the funniest shit I've ever heard! Also if Jerry hadn't had some big injuries during his career that slowed him down big time. IF that didnt happen he would have had way better stats. Once again IF, so IF's dont mean shit!
