That new TFOT song was pretty meh besides the guitar part towards the end, that was badass. Then again I hated Cut Down the Tall Trees... when I first heard it and that song grew on me a lot so I'll give it some more listens.

The AC gang reportedly discovered Mr. May while recording their new album Merriweather Post Pavilion down in the Magnolia State.

SO I bought my dad Mr. Bungle's s/t album on vinyl and he LOVES it. He is a big fan of John Zorn, so he immediately recognized his influence on the album. He says he can only taker in doses, because its "intense"...but he is also 58 years old. That shit only cost me $16 brand new.

This album fucking shreds from front to back. It's like a mix of garage rock and shoegaze but if shoegaze wasn't slow paced if that makes any sense.
