Yup, you're right, you do suck. They just got signed to Deep Elm too. I love like 99% of the stuff Deep Elm releases. Although I liked them well before they were even signed.

Never heard that band/album though, checking it out now.

quick explanation is that math rock is a lot of guitar noodling and weird time signatures, either with or without vocals.

Math rock is pretty broad in how the the different bands sound. You have everything from instrumental (lot of math rock is) to experimental math rock to indie sounding math rock bands and so on and so on.
