Just borrowed this from the net a few days ago. Great fucking album from a band I've never even heard of. I love when that happens. Think Botch meets Isis meets Cult of Luna. Like all the best bands it seems these days this band is also from France.

I'm not sure of your guys familiarity with this band, sounds like a band that some people really hate, but then some really like, i'm of the latter i guess. I finally found their older albums, and i like them, i was suprised how they had "send me an angel" (thrice has this song also, anyone know which band made it?)

It's not as synthy as it is heavy, the older albums being even more heavyish. Here's my favorite track off of zzyzx (the newest cd). Which by the way, comes from a road in california, yup, we are that cool.

I checked out Godspeed you! Black Emperor, and yeah, that band is something else, my favorite post rock right now. Especially the dialogues interspersed between the songs.
