^^^ I was just listening to that album on my way up to Edmonds yesterday. TV On the Radio are so fucking good. You got their two other albums and their EP right RJ? Tunde Adebimpe is the shit, dude's vocals are so powerful.



I saw them with Grizzly Bear awhile back. That concert was so fucking awesome and both bands are amazing live. I couldn't tell you who was better because they are too different but both are worth checking out live.

Don't listen to that crap. I don't like The White Stripes either. There are only three things in common with the bands and that's that they are both two piece bands from the midwest who play "garage rock" but Black Keys are a lot more bluesy.

Check out the myspace link and listen to the two songs and tell me they sound anything like The White Stripes.

I actually think you will like them though. Can you check youtube? They got a few good videos on there by them.

Time for some "indie" or "midwest" emo. Not all the bands are from the midwest and they all play off of Sunny Day Real Estate of Seattle sound but that's what it gets labeled a lot. Great stuff though.

Funny enough I couldn't track down any links by my favorite band in this sub-genre. If you see anything by Braid grab it, it's all amazing.
