I just want to give some feedback to the recent uploads...

PygmyLush-Throw the Jockey is probably the meanest song i've heard, i had it on repeat for half of my trip back home. The whole cd is dynamic, slow songs, out of the no where fast songs...great upload!

Genghis Tron-Yeah, another band that I stayed away from just cuz of the name, but, your guy's hype wasn't without basis, this cd is really knockin', yeah... knockin'.

City and Colour-I've already gotten a lot of my friends into this, I have it playing through out the day in my living room so this is pretty much nonstop for me right now. The choruses are really catchy so that's cool

Junior Boys-Thanks for the heads up on this band.

Ground Components-Also liked this cd, i probably mentioned it somewhere before. Once again, it's hella dynamic, i like that.

The Depreciation Guild- Was this posted on here? I don't know where i got this from but ...it's getting quite a lot of plays recently. Anymore from them?

I think this was more or less a rant than a feedback...Oh and BSP are alright, i have that cd, haven't listened to it thoroughly yet.

I have some stuff to share i guess later...btw...no one checked out monty are i? My very first post... I wasn't kidding yo, at least check out in this legacy on their page.

I've been listening to this album a lot in the early morning when I have opening shifts at the theater. Agitated Radio Pilot is the Minimalist Folk project of Dave Colohan from Ireland who has been in too many bands to name (check myspace bio for a list.) Really fucking good relaxing music with great vocals. Highly recommended.

For this post I'm going to go back to the 80's and post one of my all time favorite albums in any genre. In my opinion this album is flawless from the lyrics to the vocals to the overall music. As everyone knows I listen to a ton of music and I'm a big fan of many artists in different genres so it's really hard for me to do Top Ten all time type lists but I do know that if I really sat there and thought about it that this album would be in the top five maybe even three.

One of the best albums to come out in a few years in the whole "indie" scene. Edward Droste has one of the best voices out in my opinion and every song is harmonized damn near perfectly with all members singing. There are no weak songs on the album but my favorite two are Knife and On a Neck, On a Spit. Grizzly Bear is one of the very few "hype bands" that I actually think deserve the hype they get.

awesome band if you are into that stuff. i guess i would kind of compare them to bands such as Robinson, Destroyer Destroyer, Crowpath, etc etc.

They upped the album for free on their website and are all about supporting free music, so here is the free shits.

Time for my favortie album by Montesano, Washington's own The Melvins. To this day Honey Bucket is still one of my favorite songs.

The Melvins - Houdini

*edit*

Also if you watch the video for Honey Bucket above and then the one for Hooch below it's hard to believe they are from the same album. Honey Bucket is more fast paced hardcore while Hooch is more slow sludgy metal, a lot of The Melvins music fall somewhere inbetween the two.
