I'd start with their latest "dark country magic" It's a good combination of some of their weirder stuff mixed with some of their more straightforward stuff. It's a nice middle ground.

Do you listen to MV & EE? If you like Big Blood you will probably like them. They have like tons of stuff under different monikers with different people helping out, side projects, solo stuff, and then stuff from others in the band. It's all pretty good stuff with some being a lot better then others though.
