Baltimore dreamers Beach House sound a whole lot different live than they do on record, especially when they're working with their recently expanded live lineup. So even if you don't like paying for the same songs twice, Beach House's new iTunes Sessions EP might be worth checking out. For the EP, the band-- in three-piece form-- turned in reworked versions of five old songs, as well as one completely new one: "White Moon"

Damn, I'm dissapointed that the Violens song in the Acid Reign (In the Trees mix) and not something new. I didn't notice that when first downloading it. I mean it's a great fucking song and I like it I think more then the OG but I wanted something new. Well, I guess it's for a split vinyl release so that makes sense to have it on there actually. Violens have quickly became one of my favorite bands of recent. I think they sound like what Tears for Fears would have if they came out at this time instead of the 80s. They just have that feel to them to me.

I have to add that that Twin Shadow on the 7" wasn't very impressive. Still listening to the full Twin Shadow album though, can't stop listening to it.

It's not a bad song. It just doesn't seem to be on the same level as all the songs on Forget.
