Raiders Vs Lions

Lions offense looked unstoppable at times. They had a ton of 4+ WR sets and threw damn near the whole game it seemed like, the Raider's D-line couldn't get any pressure on Kitna. Either their offense is gonna be real solid this year or Raider's D got alot worse.
Also Im gettin real sick of Jano shanking field goals...I can think of probally atliest 4 games in the last 3 years we lost or were in alot worse position because of his inaccuracy.

they played good for about 20 minutes. Too bad its 60 minute game. McCown did a decent job, that one pick was not his fault. Janokowski was disapointing. All bullshit aside the Lions are a much improved team and could shock some people. The raiders D needs to play better.. still a fun game. At least the came back and made it interesting. They look like they got more heart than last season.

The raiders' offense looked better than last year, while the defense looked worse.

This sums up the whole game period. Our D looked terrible out there... Sapp didn't get any push up the middle like he used too. The Raiders played too much man to man defense. The offense looked aight though. What happened to Newberry? He didn't even last one play.

Both teams looked good because they are the two worse teams in the league, and when you are playing against the worst team in the league, besides yourself, of course you are going to look good.

I'm a Lion fan, too, but beating the Raiders doesn't mean anything.. Both teams fans saw this game on there schedule and thought, we should win that won, and that's probably the only game they felt with certainty that they would win.

But, the Lions offense looked good to me because the Raiders defense is actually good, and the Lions made them look bad. On the other hand, the Lions defense still looks liek shit, and they are going to have to score in the mid thirties to probably win every game that they win.
