i think there is more to the story that we dont know about, what is rhodes contract status? is he due a bonus if he is active for a certain number of games? I thought i heard Bush was ready to play, if so then Rhodes is expendable. Especially is his contract is not favorable, This might no be a bad move financially.

BTW, is there any rumors up in the bay about the raiders going after Micheal Turner next year? I would hate to see it, but he is perfect for the Raiders.

do you think Turner is really ready to carry the load tho? to me he's just another good backup to a elite runner just like Jordan was back in NY

he's got the size and power to give you 30 carries per game, but also has rare speed for a big guy, i mean faster than most starting rb in the league..even LT. i think its a perfect match if you mix him in with bush and throw defenses off. Also he would take alot of the load of Russell having to pass the ball. Jordan isnt even on the same level talent wise...imo he's ready.
someone is gonna pick him up next season, he aint coming back here and thats a known fact.
