I feel you on that!
I think it just sucks period for GM because every last one of their divisions has cars/trucks/ that are pretty damn nice right about now and to axe even just one is fucked up.
Before this news I read that Saturn and Hummer were possibly on the chopping block too, also,....By the time its all said and done the only ones left will be Chevy, Caddillac and Buick.

yeah it sucks unfortunately...pontiac is a big part of the that american muscle look....saturn (wtf ? ) hummer ( aint nobody buyin these gas guzzlers anymore) and gmc ( i dont see the point in people buyin a "silverado" or colorado" with the gmc sticker and probably a diff leather interior design) ...those divisions should have been axed a while ago, couldve saved them millions and millions of dollars...
@ILLER THAN ILL.....Maybe because it was the brands longest running nameplate/model......I'm just guessin though.
@SC_408........I wonder if Pontiac was the least money maker out of Saturn, GMC, and Hummer. And if so...Damn!
But yea...There's no need for GMC cause thats all for the most part rebadged Chevy vehicles...even though some years back GMC was supposed to be their luxury truck division hence "Denali"......Chevy can cover that I bet.....
Hummer....that was a fad.
And Saturn.....well they have a little glimmer of hope and I say this because their whole entire product line-up is practically all new cars......Aura, SKY, Vue, Outlook, Astra.
We'll see what happens from this.

The 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 was the final F-Body muscle car to come out of Pontiac, with a 325 HP LS1 V8, six speed manual and the last iteration of that famous "Ram Air" hood, it was a performance bargain at $28,000. The final year got the special yellow and black livery and if you've got one, it just went up in value.
