never was a biggie fan, he brought it on a few songs, but @ that time / era, I was more feeling west coast & down south sounds.

I mean, yes RIP to Biggie, but he was never a Rap God in my opinionation.... muh fuckers in the underground not selling hella units could chew this cat up.

BUT!!! .....he OWNED this song!!!

Growing up in the midwest I feel like I've had a more optimistic view.

I was always a fan of both. Biggie was just better in my opinion.
It has nothing to do with Tupac being whack or anything like that.....

Tupac in his own right was very very very dope, very deep, very real.
but Biggie's word play was ridiculous.....when he stepped on the scene.

Yes, NOW-A-DAYS......underground cats could probly murder Biggie right now...
But in the early 90's coming out of the "basic word play" era....

Biggie was on a whole nother level....

I'm not even a real big Biggie fan outside of Ready to Die but Biggie was a far better pure MC than 2Pac ever was, by a long shot. What made Pac one of the greats was he told dope stories and you could literally feel how he felt through his music, something not many artists do in any genre of music.

RIP to both of them for dying over stupid shit done by snakes that didn't even really accomplish anything by doing so except taking two lives.

MAKES YOU WONDER??? WHAT DIRECTION RAP/HIP HOP WOULD HAVE WENT HAD THEY SURVIVED.

WOULD IT STILL HAVE GOTTEN AS GAY AS IT HAS?

AND OF COURSE THE JA RULES AND DMX'S PROBABLY WOULDNT HAVE GONE TOO FAR HAD TUPAC LIVED.

OR MAYBE THEY WOULD HAVE...THE SHOULD OF'S,COULD OF'S, WOULD OF'S
