the average pro wrestling superstar is on the road over 320 days a year, from one major city to another. they take downers and pain meds and maybe a drink or 2 just to go to sleep and then uppers/speed to get up and start the routine again in the morning off to the next venue. i have known several professional wrestlers over the years and none were happy. most of the famous ones are rich but never get to enjoy the spoils of their labor. many of them die from either drug overdoes or heart disease caused by years of drug use (including steroids). check this site about dead wrestlers, many of which died in their 30's and 40's. http://www.garywill.com/wrestling/decwres.htm

btw, i think it sucks people blaming the biz for this, theres a lot of people with harder lives than pro wrestlers, and they dont come home and kill thier families,

brett hart used steroids for years as did his brother owen, so did jim the anvil, davey boy smith and dinamite kid, all of whom are related thru marraige and or blood. and i dont think anyone is blaming the biz, infact this is the first time that i ever heard of a wrestler killing his whole family. many have had brushes with the law, usually for drugs or some kind of violence, but there are postal workers and computer techs who kill their families too. i do however blame wrestling and vince for the deaths of dozens of young wrestlers who died in their 30's and 40's because they had to use steroids to compete. no big bulky muscles, no airtime. he didnt make them take the steroids to my knowledge, but its a known fact that for many years, those cats with out those over develope steroid bodies never got to be superstars, with a few like mick foley and rick flair as the exception.

Motherfuckers come on here and mourn their homeboys, KNOWING that that same homeboy probably killed someone or raped a 13 year old girl or sold drugs to a 10 year old, or some other fucked up shit back in the day.........but do we get at them and call them scum and say they got what they deserved?
