I'm not understanding this. Mundine's been fighting on PPV in Australia since his professional debut (he was the main event too) has what has to be the biggest money fight in local Australian boxing history in his fight with Green and gets CAKED out every time he steps inside of a ring there.

What's his reason for coming here and fighting on some shitty undercard? If he wanted to prove he was special his would've came here a while ago .. I'm sure he can retire comfortably today.

.. and I don't rate Mundine very high. For years he's talked shit about signing tough fights and never did a god damn thing about it. I thought he lost to Geale and without any kind of doubt lost the first fight against Soliman. My opinion though..

yeah, something is very strange about this thread. I've known about this dude for YEARS. 35 is old in boxing years because most dudes have had their brains bashed for 20 years at that point already so it really all depends on the fighter they've been up to that point. i think it can be done but the odds are definitely against you. Mundine could certainly make a name for himself here but it remains to be seen. It's like Zsolt Erdei coming out of retirement to come to the US to fight for legacy. It happens

Ya I read about it.
They were calling it one of the biggest upsets in AUS boxing history.

What happened to your boy?

Hope he gets a rematch because that novice is calling out some big names now...
