Quick ?? on a recent find

So half way lucked out finding a C.I.N. 94 mobstas cd, smg and all that but of course no cd but had a question anyway on it...did this one come with just a single card/cover? meaning no fold out book or nothing?

also can someone put me up on game on a rap cat named nyke loc, I thought it said mid-west but i seen a few things on the web that said denver...his cd's worth anything, tha laundrymat cd specifically?

Nyke Loc is from Denver. I believe on the cover of that cd it says Mile High Hitman which is a dead giveaway. prolly get 20-35 for it if I had to guess.

I have a copy of E-40 - The Mail Man (2nd Pressing?) in the style of cobra427's CD:

The date on the inner ring is 11/29/93.

And I have a copy of R.B.L. Posse - Lesson to be Learned (2nd Pressing?) in the style of layziemarv's CD:

I also have an O.G. copy of Dru Down - Fools From The Street done by Rainbo with a barcode and a date of 06/17/93. It's hard to get a picture of it though and I don't have a scanner.

I'd be interested to know what date cobra427 has on the inner ring of the disc. I don't think either are fake, just different pressings. It's just a matter of figuring out which came first.

Yeah, when you posted the O.G. Mail Man, it confused me because I expected a different style Rainbo code.

As far as the inserts go, they were probably postdated, because I'm pretty sure the Mail Man album came out before '95.

Phunky phat graph-x did print a lot of wrong copyright years on their covers. most of the times they were a few years ahead of the real release year on the cover.

^^^ ya the OG mail man I think came out in 1993 but that was only on LP and cassette, don't think the cd came out till at least a year later, but since you have a copy that was dated in 1993, then that could very well be the original release, hopefully someone will confirm for sure.

Yes, the OG Mail man came out on CD in 1993. I have the same disc. If you search hard you can find my copies of many OG ring codes and the differences. Man, I put up all of my CD's into storage, I would pull out my OG RBL and etc. to show ya'll the differences. I really don't have time now, but when I start working on my blog, I'm going to start showing you guy's the differences between pressing. Even the Brotha Lynch Hung - Season of the Siccness. I have all versions of it including the Black Market only version, which is not the OG. Just thought that I would throw that in there. I can't join in on these convo's here lately, because my collection has been boxed up and put away.

That's a whole other subject though. Let's just say that I've been cataloging information from different versions. As everybody know's I like all versions not just OG's. This way I know the difference. C ya'll soon on these "What's the OG pressing code" topics.

I got mail man on CD and the ring code reads RAINBO/E-40 THE MAIL MAN 366-093-814N 09/23/93N but also a bar code. I bought that one back in the mid90s right after I saw the first ads for the EP. But my disc has that red printing with the e-40 picture on it.

Also, my Federal has the ring code RAINBO: E-40 FEDERAL #366-062-415B 06/29/92U. No bar code on the inner ring though
