Brand was not hurt when you made the trade numbnuts...check the game logs!

lol@ you saying Brand was hurt during the time the trade went down...you just believed he would return to his previous form at the beginning of the season and you know it, just because he got hurt AFTER the trade was done doesn't mean the trade was "fair" like you say.

if he was supposedly "injured" like you said...then why would you trade for him then?

and if the trade was so fair as you claim it to be then why did you feel it was necessary to change the voting system from league votes to commish vote right before the trade happened???? you being the commish n' all sure makes this trade awfully suspect.....seeing that you did that.

Trade was made Jan 26th

Injury Note on Feb 4, 2009 (Right shoulder surgery - out for season)

News: The Philadelphia Daily News reports Tuesday that Sixers forward Elton Brand is having discomfort with his injured shoulder. Brand has played six games since coming back from his dislocated right shoulder, but he has become more aware of pain and restrictiveness as he tried to shoot or reach for rebounds. On Tuesday against Boston, Brand was wearing a large protective pad around the shoulder, and he played only eight minutes of the first half before sitting out the second half. The paper reports the team is considering shutting Brand down to allow more time for healing. He sat out 16 games after getting hurt Dec. 17 against the Milwaukee Bucks. "We're going to look at it," Brand said. "It's hard when you're feeling pain and you can't straighten your arm out on your shot. I have a little flip shot I've used all these years, and I can't do it. That was why I tried to wear the brace, but that didn't really help. It's just disappointing." Analysis: Brand has averaged 19.4 minutes in his past five games while averaging 5.6 points and 5.0 rebounds. He is not helping Fantasy owners at this time, and it might be a good idea to let him rest, maybe through the All-Star break, which ends Feb. 17. For now, keep Brand reserved in all leagues even if he's healthy because he's not playing well since the shoulder isn't right.

Brand, Elton PF PHI
News: The Philadelphia Daily News reports that Elton Brand could be used to start at center in place of injured Samuel Dalembert. Dalembert injured his left ankle Friday and could be forced to miss some time due to the injury. So the Sixers could use Brand at center, leaving Thaddeus Young at power forward. Analysis: The severity of Dalembert's injury remains to be seen, although the Sixers were terming it a sprained ankle. They said X-rays were negative and that an MRI scan had not been ordered. Including Friday night, Dalembert has started 235 straight games. Brand could wind up picking up center eligibility in leagues that allow for multiple positional eligibility with five starts. However, that would mean Dalembert would have to be out for over a week. Brand still does not appear to be 100 percent recovered from his shoulder injury, averaging just 7.3 points and 4.0 rebounds in his four games since returning. The added eligibility would certainly help, though, when he does get back to full strength.

Chree!

Elton Brand was playing when you made this trade (jan. 26th). he came back jan. 24th and was coming off the bench! his last game played was feb. 3rd.

You had no idea like the rest of us if he was going to finish the season, you were hoping he would return to form like he was at the beginning of the season.

Why did you make the trade for him then? Nawh, dont worry about answering that, im sure you'll come out with bullshit like usual.

why do you keep avoiding this...

"and if the trade was so fair as you claim it to be then why did you feel it was necessary to change the voting system from league votes to commish vote right before the trade happened???? you being the commish n' all sure makes this trade awfully suspect.....seeing that you did that."

and its also funny that you fail to realize the person you made this trade with is in dead last (40 games back), hasn't made 1 move since the season began, never set his lineup prior to the trade and never set his lineup after the trade either. you would think since he "supposedly" made the offer to you he would want to make sure the players he wanted so badly were in his lineup on a daily basis right???? WRONG! Dude doesn't give a shit about his team at all and you know this.

Go ahead and keep making excuses trying to make yourself look like your the right one here, you and i both know you are full of shit! when are you going to man up and admit it?

don't ever compare my integrity to yours son...you will never be on my level when talking about ones character! NEVER.

lol@we didn't wanna wait.

what a typical excuse from you...

that would be a good answer if dude actually was active with his team before and after the trade ya know...but.

HE ISN'T ACTIVE AT ALL. not to mention hes still sitting in dead last...lol

sure is funny how your team is slowly crawling up the standings though isnt it?
