and why is that???? maybe because people are interested to and want to listen to them.
Take out Howard Stern, and you have 4 conservatives. Dr. Laura isn't necessarily political but her ideology is decidedly conservative.

Hannity and Colmes (FOX)
Crossfire (CNN)
Half and Half...plus Sean Hannity dominates Hannity + Colmes...We won't count these.

News Watch (FOX)
Eric Burns is a self-described centrist...as a matter of fact much of his show is spent looking through News stories with a fine-toothed comb for liberal bias. Eric Burns describes the way Fox News supported the President and the Iraq War without asking questions as "cheerfulness" and "lack of cynicism", not conservative bias. This guy is about as liberal as you.

Keith Olberman (MSNBC)
Keith Olbermann the sportscaster? This guy rarely puts any opinion on his show...if anything
he injects little or no opinion. Lives in NY, graduated Cornell, writes for the Wash. Post...Another centrist. So far we have 0 "lefties".

O'Donnell (MSNBC)
Fact reporter.

HardBall (MSNBC)
Another 50/50 Show.

Larry King (CNN)
Not liberal at all. Definitely middle of the road at best, if not leaning conservative. Your standard for "Liberal" is "Not conservative" mclean. It doesn't work that way. Just because one is not a paranoid republican flag waver warning of bombs, terrorists, and gays doesn't mean they're a liberal.

So really Mclean, we still have 0 libbie lib left leaning socialist shows.

RIPPA, anyone making over 125k hires an accountant, and usually ends up realistically paying about the same in taxes as someone who makes 50-75k through tax shelters, donations, etc.

Funny example: We all know U.S Corporations have personhood...aka they're seen as an individual person for legal purposes. Anyways, as anyone knows they are taxed.

But thank their mighty accountants...because in the most recent year there are figues, forty-four of the top eighty-two companies in the U.S did not pay the 35% rate of taxes for incomes corporations are expected to pay (or for individuals who make 300k or more). 17 of them paid *no* taxes at all, and 7 of them actually played the tax code until the government owed them money. (Such as General Motors). This, in a time when their profits increased 121 percent in three years.

Another 1,279 corporations with assets of 250 million or more claimed "no income" and paid no taxes in 1995 ( As of 2001, the first year statistics became available ).

The same occurs among the very rich. Britney Spears, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, and Master P don't really give a fuck about the kids, the cripples, the acne faces, and the gimps. They're really just using the tax code to create tax deductible shelters for their money...so they can keep more of it.

The tax code, when originally written, was 10 pages long. It has grown in size to hundreds...because of individual lobbying, especially among businesses connected with Republicans. The GOP is responsible for 76% of tax "reform", which actually translates into "individual sections and clauses that benefit big business and corporation.

The tax rate for Michael Jackson or Merck Industries may be 35%, but there is no way in fuck they will even pay 20. Sometimes, the government ends up owing them. Whereas us stupid fucks at the bottom are paying our 20 to 25 regularly.

^^ Maybe if they weren't such raving lunatics, and always spewing out the same shrink-wrapped package of rhetoric, they might be interesting enough to HOLD DOWN a show. Ask Donahue.

People still seriously believe Nader is taking votes from Kerry?

Anyone that honestly believes their vote is worth something and has a distaste for Bush, will vote for Kerry, just to see Bush out of office.

The few that don't fit into that camp are a drop in the bucket anyway and probably (almost certainly) wouldn't have voted for a democrat, with or without nader.

They'd waste their vote on a PETA/Rastifari ticket instead.

I swear Nader is only running this year to see people get pissed off like this still.

Some argue that Perot running in '92 cost Bush the election to Clinton, I know a lot of people on the Bush Train who want Nader to continue. Look at all of the 10,000+ donations to Nader's campaign, ~90% are from right wing conservatives (hmmmm, where's their motivation) At the same time, I have also heard stats that say the 25% of Nader's votes in 2000 came from would be Gore votes, 25% came from would be Bush votes & 50% came from unregistered/undecided citizens (i.e. people who otherwise wouldn't have voted). Does this add any insight to peoples thoughts???

Well, let's not forget what really happened in Florida - it has nothing to do with Nader being a spoiler. The real spoiler of the 2000 elections was the successful coup that occurred in Florida. How about the 94,000 votes that were dismissed because they were felons? (97% of the 94,000 were indeed NOT felons). What about the blacks who were cheated out of their right to vote? What about the ballots that were dismissed over “incorrect” markings? Or what about the 100 million people across america who decided not to vote?

Yes, and the name that will go down in all of the history books. DEAL WITH IT.

And no, Michael Moore's show would be in the toilet. The man simply cannot concentrate, and only works in small doses. Not to mention the constant lies and distortions. In real time, people would call him on it ASAP. So his only resort would be to have EXTREME left people on his show (and brief them ahead of time), and NOBODY near the center or on the right.

You're right tadou...all of Moore's views are EXTREME left, stuff like "corporations should pollute less", "people shouldn't start bullshit wars", and "people should be paid a living wage".

He's just an absolute nut job.

Those are such TERRIBLE views!

None of those things matter though when you live in Bel Air.

^^ Did we not go over this already, Richie Rich? When will you realize that your orgins will NEVER be as humble as mine?

No...stuff like "Saudi Arabia owns 7 percent of the American economy", then sheepishly slipping
in "...when they own 7% of America", which is a GROSS distortion.
