I have had this CD since 97 (and it is a terrible CD) by a group calle dChannel Six "Fallin Off The Deep End". It was a project that was overseen by Eazy-E before he died. I didnt know that they were from here in St. Louis. Does anybody remember them or have any info about them and what part of the city they are from?

Here is some info I found on the internet:

"Fallin’ Off The Deep End"

J-Bird Records and Brand New Music are proud to release the debut Channel Six LP "Fallin’ Off The Deep End" in April of 1997.

Channel Six is a St. Louis based four man crew. The two emcees, Cris and O’shae, keep their lyrics as real as possible, thumbing their noses at traditional hip hop themes which they feel have become tiresome. Musician Scott "Stiff" Johnson, writes guitar riffs that will have you humming all day while D.J. Hot Carl wrecks the tables.

"Fallin’ Off The Deep End" is a collection of 19 hip hop tracks designed to bring back the reality in hip hop’s culture. With influences like KRS-One, Del The Funkee Homosapien, Digital Underground, and most of all the late Eazy-E, Channel Six presents nineteen completely different styles on this one disc. Supported by Ruthless Records, Eric "Eazy-E" Wright’s label, the group decided to sign a deal with New York label J-Bird Records, attempting to gain the momentum needed for a venture into the direct hip hop market with Ruthless behind them. The 19 songs on the LP were recorded over a span of about a year in both St. Louis and Wyoming. Produced by Cris for Brand New Music, this CD is sure to earn a permanent spot in many hip hop fans’ CD changers.
