An offer was made and denied.
Technically yes but in reality the initial inquiry about a deal was made by Hopsin. At that time Strange was not in the position to negotiate any terms of a deal with anyone. After the initial meeting is when the relationship began to grow but also Hopsin began to experience success on an even higher level than he was at the time of the initial inquiry. When Strange was ready and in a position to offer a fair deal Hopsin was in a position to operate very successfully on his own and really loved the freedom to do whatever he likes. So really at one time both parties wanted a deal, it was simply a timing issue.

I don't think it was timing... I think it was Hopsin saying he wasn't going to sign to another label. lol

Hopsin was interested in a deal with Strange after his release from Ruthless....but this was immediately after his release around the same time that Stone was on the KOD tour with Strange. During the time between then and about 4 months ago Hopsin realized that he was a flagship type of artist that really doesn't need label help... independent or not. Plus he likes to make his own decisions.

Hopsin is to violent.. and disses bitch made rappers like Lil Wayne and Drake..
he won't hold back......
Tech is nice to lesser rappers like LIl Wayne.. and Drake....

he's gotta be joking... whenever he said they good..
cause they are wack.. Tech is better and he knows it..

Hopsin knows they suck.. and he doesn't give a fuck...
i like how he disses all the weak shit..that I hate..
it's like he says what everyone is thinking...

but yeah I don't think any label can handle Hopsin.. when he starts verbally murdering
rappers in the booth...
Tech probably wouldn't let him diss Lil Wayne etc...

This thread is getting interesting. People are talkin' and shit. Brought me back long enough to ask ASMO if anyone from Strange HQ specifically asked for the jokerr diss to strange to be removed. If so, fuck that person in his fat ass.

It was deleted by "Asmodeus". Holy fuck, my sleuthing and detectivity skills have increased since watching Where in the World is Carmen San Diego! I will surely be granted an extra popsicle for this after lunch.
