When Pujols came into SF this year and I got to watch him play a bit, I couldn't help but think of one guy: Barry Bonds. I think Bonds was a more all around player; he could run a bit more and played a good left field for most of his career, but in terms of their power hitting and being able to hit for average and constantly being on base, they remind me a lot of each other.
did you just call Barry Bonds an "all round player"?!?!?!?!

^^^ you do realize he had a 40/40 season right? He also was a great outfielder for a lot of years. He also has always been tough to strike out. His on base percentage is insane and most importantly has always been a great contact hitter. How was Bonds not a good all around player?

They gave a stat on espn of him with the bases loaded this year and he's 6 for 7 with 4 jacks......Shit is Nuts.....Not to mention this one was in the 8th inning with the Cards down 3-0....

good player but i wouldnt be shocked if he is juiced up lol...dude started going bald..lol you can see his hair line a few years back now its gone shocking...lol
