When Pujols came into SF this year and I got to watch him play a bit, I couldn't help but think of one guy: Barry Bonds. I think Bonds was a more all around player; he could run a bit more and played a good left field for most of his career, but in terms of their power hitting and being able to hit for average and constantly being on base, they remind me a lot of each other.

the biggest seperation is that pujols head size didnt increase tenfold, where as bond's did.

oh yeah, pujols is a beast. if no prior steroid use pops up in the future, he will be labeled the best pure hitter of this era.
