id only get a 60gb for ps2 backwards compatiability. since i havent played a ps2 game since mid 2006 there is no need for that. and with the mandatory game installs for ps3 games. that 60gb will go quick.

The size of the PS3 isn't a big deal since you can just swap it out for a bigger hard drive anyway. You can get up to 500 GB in your PS3 if you wanted.

yea i upgraded mine to 320 and need to upgrade cuz i have like 200+ movies on my harddrive

only problem is that i wish it would play .mkv files.... which are HD quality vids

and i agree i was hoping the ps3 would stream or play .mkv files cus my 360 didnt. kinda disappointed as ive been downloading blu ray rips. maybe they release it soon in a update.

and i got uncharted to not freeze up at this certain part. i guess you play another game for a little bit and then pop uncharted back in and it works. read it on a message board and it does work.

even with this slim version, it looks like i aint coppin a ps3. none of the exclusives appeal to me. it doesnt play ps1 or 2 so i would have to re buy them through their store, which of course i wouldnt bc i still have most of my old systems. the only thing sony had is the blue ray and who really gives a fuck about that? there are dvd 1080p up converters for less then the cost of a ps3.

bought a OG 40gig for $400 when gta 4 dropped, went online copped a 320gig HD for $60 bucks....n havent had any problems & yes I d/L movies daily off of www.iwillsearch4u.com ...dont trust the slim, jus like the ps2 slim....when my og ps2 out lasted 2 ps2 slims...but times change n so does technology.....time will tell

it is ps1 compatible. not ps2

He is talking about what the 60GB PS3 offers...which is a card reader, 4 USB ports...and PS2 backwards compatibility.

I love my PS3 (80gb) ...

i installed the 3.0 update and i had no probs...I've played uncharted and i have no problems either ...maybe its your disc that's fucked up..

i don't know... i ain't had a game system since somebody kicked in my door and took my xbox 4 years ago... last night i was playin Devil May Cry 4 and it was workin fine... today when i powered on the system the game didn't come on so i ejected it and tried puttin it back in... it tried to read it for about 1-2 minutes then it made this clunking noise then it was still trying to read it but couldn't... i tried puttin another game in and it did the same thing... i been holdin out buyin a game system for years cuz i heard of all the fuck ups... then when i finally give in this shit happens...
