well I finally got mine this past tuesday and waited a couple of days fucking around with it to post on here. I've had a 360 since launch (I think 3 years now) so ill compare it with the 360.
The system itself, the slim, looks pretty good. better then i thought it would. It gets hot on the back part only and blows out hot air, the front area is rather cool. 2 usb slots is plenty, unless your hooking up all kinds of shit to it for some reason. no hdmi cable is a bummer. dualshock 3 is good, id be mad if i bought this system from the beginning to only get a sixaxis. It boots up kinda fast but when you first turn it on there is like 5 seconds of nothing on the screen then it loads rather fast. the XMB is stupid, i mean i downloaded a demo and its in the game section just scroll down. i wonder whats going to happen when i have like 20+ games in that section. going to be looking around for shit even thought its alphabetical.
the psn is decent since its free. but if price were equal xbox live shits on it. so much more shit, easier to find things. all xbox arcade games come with demos. i had no games to play from the begining. so i wanted to try out fat princess, but guess what no demo. at least from what i could find (someone tell me if there is one). the 3.0 update downloaded and installed pretty quick, easier then i thought it would be. downloaded batman demo, i guess it installs after it dl's automatically which is coo but xbox live is dl and play.
brings me to the next subject, i borrowed uncharted and that motherfucker freezes at the end of the 2nd chapter. so the only game i got to play freezes and i cant advance in the game. wtf kinda bammer shit is that. at least with the rrod you arent tempted to play the game cus you got no system. but for a system to work fine, and not be able to play the game is pretty lame.
so i got this cool ps3, i can surf the net on it! game that wont stop freezing up. is there any other cool shit i can do with it at this time?
overall if the game didnt freeze id be a lot happier but right now its just a expensive dvd player as i have no blu ray movies. and it cant stream .mkv files but either could my 360. 3.5/5.
cant wait for the new games, uncharted 2, god of war 1-3, FF13, GT5, and so forth. almost regretting buying it at this time tho.
