i listen to brotha lynch but then again he is horrorcore. thats what this board is. cellski and primo and 11/5 are not horrorcore groups or rappers. why would we listen to them if they are not our taste in music?

But anyway.... I feel politics have no place in any form of music.
There are tons of great rock n' roll songs that are very political. A lot of the sixties politically motivated anthems are fucking classics. And are the voice of a generation.

And this whole genre of music called "rap" or "Hip Hop" is a based off some heavy political themes. It's the music of the oppressed. Have you ever heard the famous quote from Chuck D that "rap is the CNN for black people".

I don't wanna hear politics on every fucking song but to say it has " NO PLACE IS ANY FORM OF MUSIC " is just flat out stupid. It might not be you're cup of tea, but political issues have spawned classic songs and different genres of music.
