I was being sarcastic with the Bush statement. I never said Bush was gonna turn the team into playoff powerhouse. With the "pathetic" season we're having, it looks as if we're on the road to drafting him assuming he comes out of college. The 9ers have tons of holes on offense and defense; that's pretty evident, so drafting pretty much anyone at this point will be helpful.
After racking up another win, we only have one less win than y'all do. So if the 9ers are "pathetic" than the Raiders aren't too far behind. And as far as Alex Smith goes? Yeah, he hasn't shown much potential or flashes of greatness that prove him to be the #1 overall pick in the draft last year, but Carson Palmer sucked for 3 years too and look at him now. The QB position is the toughest position in the NFL to learn so it's not something you can excel in over night. Bottom line is, it's too early to label him "the biggest bust in NFL history" in my opinion.
I do agree though that he was WAY overpaid for someone who prior to this year hasn't even played a snap in the NFL yet.

LMAO AT ANYONE WHO THINKS THE NINERS WILL BE BETTER IN THE LONGRUN, IF YOU DIDNT KNOW RONALD CURRY WAS OUT FOR THE YEAR, CHARLES WOODSEN HAS BEEN OUT SINCE LIKE WEEK 6 OR SOME SHIT, LAMONT JORDON HAS ALREADY PROVEN HES A GOOD 1ST STRING RUNNING BACK, IF THE RAIDERS CAN GET A QUARTERBACK LIKE VINCE YOUNG THEY WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE, ONLY THING FUCKING THERE OFFENSE RIGHT NOW IS THERE O-LINE AND RANDY MOSS HAS BEEN PLAYEN THE WHOLE SEASON THROUGH AN INJURY SINCE LIKE WEEK 3 OR 4, HES NOT AT FULL SPEED, IF EVERYONE IS 100% NEXT SEASON THE RAIDERS WILL BE A FACTOR AND WE ARE GONNA TOTALLY FUCKEN DESTROY THE FUCKEN NINERS IN THE REGULAR SEASON NEXT YEAR.

Yes you need a good QB but if you go after Young you will have no money to spend on the o-line which makes everything else moot
The real problem of the Raiders the past 3 years has been defense, they can't stop anyone, and no matter who you have on offense if your defense sucks it doesn't matter.

CHRONIC ITS A TRANSITION PERIOD FOR US, YOU CAN HATE ALL YOU WANT BUT NOT EVERYTHING CAN COME TOGETHER RIGHT AWAY AND IT DEFINITELY DIDNT HELP THAT OUR BEST RECIEVER WAS OUT FOR THE YEAR, OUR DEFENSE WAS IMPROVING AGAINST THE RUN BUT WITH ALL THE INJURIES THEY JUST BECAME UNRAVOLLED OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT, IM NOT SAYING THEY WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS NEXT YEAR CUZ THERES A LOT HARDER COMPETITION NOW IN THE AFC ESPECIALLY IN THE AFC WEST BUT THEY WILL PLAY A LOT BETTER NEXT SEASON. ON A SIDE NOTE THE WE SHOULD HAVE BEAT THE CHIEFS TWICE THIS YEAR BUT BLEW IT AND THERE WERE A COUPLE OTHER GAMES THEY COULD HAVE WON AND IT JUST SUCKS DICK THAT THEY HAD TO PLAY PHILLY BEFORE T.O. GOT BOOTED OFF THE TEAM.

I would take St Louis and the Cards both to beat these 2 teams so before you bag on 1 division look at your own loses. The Raiders play and outright suck and there is no other words to explain it nor that can deny it.
