I WASNT BEING COMPLETELY SERIOUS BUT I GUARANTEE THERES A RELIGIOUS ASPECT BEHIND THE INFO IN THIS POST. THE ORIGINAL POSTS MAIN IDEA IS THAT PREMARITAL SEX IS THE CAUSE OF DEPRESSION IN OUR YOUTH. THAT MAY BE THE CASE HERE OR THERE BUT A BROAD CLAIM IS BEING MADE THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE.

IF NOT THEN IT WOULD BE SAFE TO SAY THAT NO YOUTH ARE DEPRESSED IF THEYRE NOT HAVING PRE MARITAL SEX.

Premarital sex is tied in with religion? PREMARITAL SEX IS EXACTLY THAT! SEX THAT IS PRE (BEFORE) MARRIAGE, and if it is a word tied in with RELIGION why is SCIENCE DAILY TALKING ABOUT IT?

And in some cultures marriage is NOT a religious observence/rite, and the religious aspect is usually only placed on marriage by teh people who believe in a certain religion. Do you think 206 views marriage as a religious act?

I wasn't implying that there was no correlation btw, the article just doesn't get into the specifics and only emphasizes the data. I see exactly how it can cause such problems in certain situations. I'd like to see a few more studies on the causes and technicalities though also, because this is admittedly the first time I've heard of this connection. Not sure what this had to do with Christianity either but whatever.

I'm not saying he did, but he himself said he was simply taking notes from a magazine while he was waiting to get his haircut.
