According to a survey taken by a University that gives out info to a Magazine that I read called the Trumpet Magazine it says 80% of Un-married college students are having pre-marital sex. Almost 2/3 of high schoolers have had sex by their senior year' over 1/5 of those 2/3 have had 4 or more sex partners on different occasions. Such as, breaks ups, new relationships etc.
A study in the behavior of these children have shown a negative effect with Students that are sexually active, then those that abstain from sex. 1/4 of these teens acquire an STD from a partner.
Teenage Girls are 3 times more likely to be emotionally depressed when sexually active, and almost 3 times more likely to commit suicide or have suicidal notions. According to the same study in behavior, Boys are 8 times likely to commit suicide or have suicidal notions when sexually active.
Studies have also shown that 50 percent of those sexually active are most likely going to drop out of high school, and 60 percent are prone to either being suspended or expelled. The study has also shown that out of these 50 percent that drop out, half of them will not graduate from college.
The study also points out that college students that are constantly sexually active, have lower GPAs then those, that either abstain from sex, or aren't as promiscuous. They also seek more counseling then those of the contrary.
These in turn leads to stupid decisions like abortion, one parent lifestyle for the child, emotional distress, continuous distribution of STDs, shattered relationships between child and parent.
