Why is it that his sound is getting so annoying? i can't quite figure it out.

It's almost like all the hype we put ourselves through getting a Kaliko record changed our taste in his hooks. It's not like he's doing anything different than before. I think he's just over saturated.

So much so that I don't even like RnB, but I got excited as hell when I found out that some of the hooks on Feature Presentation were being done by RnB cats I've never heard of.

I can't stress enough how much I despise RnB/Rap mash-up songs.

I think that's exactly it. Kaliko has almost been force fed to us for eight years now, as he's on a good majority of each album. Too much of something can understandably make you like it less. If you were made to eat Pizza for an entire year, breakfast-lunch-dinner, even if you love Pizza, do you think you would savor the last bite of your last pizza in the same way you would have on day one? Doubtful.

I welcome the Vance Leroy's, the Irv Da Phenom's and Gina McFadden's (among others), as it's a break from Kaliko. That said however, my distaste for Kaliko is primarily in his rapping. I almost cringe for most of his verses these days. Don't know why.

It's because he has so much vocal range with his voice, yet chooses to strain the hell out of it like on Strange Music Box. It's happening more and more, and is like nails on a chalkboard. It's seemingly found its way into his singing, too.

The EP is cool but "Stress Relief" is weak. I actually like the hook as it's fitting for the idea, but apart from that the song does nothing for me.

I think the problem with Kaliko today is that as overused as you could argue he was on, say, Kutt's B.L.E.V.E album or some of Tech's stuff, you had to give it up for his eclectic talent and raw potential. Now that he's put out two albums of his own that I think it's safe to say at least slightly disappointed a lot of fans people have just become a bit jaded.

He's still killing it, like the hook for "Last Sad Song" or his track-stealing appearence on Lynch's album, but I'd welcome a little less of him on solo Tech albums at this point. I'm also holding out hope that with his next album he can finally put out something that's solid all the way through as opposed to amazing in parts and utterly forgettable in others.

krizz still sounds just as good as always..everyone is capable of a bad song here and there... i think his voice is great in the majority of his songs and im looking forward to any projects his name is on.. rnb and rap go hand in hand..its always been that way..

lol i told all yall long ass ago krizz is good but is way overraturating shit. dude doesnt need to be on 9/10 shit tech does. id rather hear kutt on 8/10 and krizz sticking to like 2-3 choruses

Am I the only one here who realizes that it's tech doing the pain killer hook with krizz just backing him up a little?? Krizz only did a hook for one song on here and one verse which stole the show I may add..
