It would be crazy as hell if Bhop was in the top 10 at this age.

I lost respect for the Ring once Golden Boy bought them. Then I also lost more respect when I heard Dan Rafael was offered the Editor in Chief position.

Guerrero is exactly one win from moving WAY up! lol

It's an absolute joke to have Broner in the top 10.

dude, look at this list again

1. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
2. Andre Ward
3. Juan Manuel Marquez
4. Sergio Martinez
5. Manny Pacquiao
6. Guillermo Rigondeaux
7. Wladimir Klitschko
8. Nonito Donaire
9. Timothy Bradley Jr.
10. Carl Froch

Bradley has the weakest resume in that group really but he was at least the unified 140lb belt holder. Beat Alexander and Peterson. Canelo doesn't have a win as good as either one of those guys and hasn't unified belts (yet).

Pacquiao is on there at that cat has loss his last 3 fights yet an undefeated Canelo can't even get on the list. Lmao
paul spadafora is undefeated, 48-0, should he be on the list?

Obviously you have to have fought high level of opponents, something Canelo and Paul haven't done while Pac has. Further everyone recognizes Pac beat Bradley.

Same thing with Broner. I think Broner and Canelo have a TON of skill and power etc... and very well COULD end up being excellent fighters. But I always look at Andre Berto as the best and most recent example. His power and speed were amazing to behold but he simply wasn't fighting the best opponents (I really wish we wouldn't have missed his matchup with Mosley). He started fighting better competition (Ortiz wasn't even that good even though he was beastin in the fight) and lost. Now, people are basically writing him off. I like Canelo and think he could end up being something special but he NEEDS this fight. For all the comparisons he draws to DLH in a lot of ways, this fight is his Ike Quartey. Tough to pick a winner here but his star will definitely rise after this. If he came in and destroyed Cotto after this or even Lara, I think most boxing writers and fans would agree that he should be flirting with the top 10. As much as I hate Froch, he's done really well the last 3.5-4 years even though he was embarrassed by Ward. Canelo needs to top the 4 years that Froch has had to get in the top 10 to me.

Yes^^^^^^^ Canelo is the best 154lb fighter in the world as of Yesterday. There are 18 Weight divisions and 4 of the top 10 fighters fight at 147lbs. Being the best in your division doesn't mean you're a p4p fighter by any means.
