Riots broke out when hundreds of young people started an unannounced demonstration to avoid eviction from Ungdomshuset (youth house). The use of the building was granted to young people for cultural purposes some twenty years ago by the City Council, but now the building has been sold to a Christian organization.

2 - Protestors occupy the Ungdomshuset (youth house) as a banner hangs from it in Copenhagen December 16, 2006. Riots broke out when hundreds of young people started an unannounced demonstration to avoid eviction from Ungdomshuset. The use of the building was granted to young people for cultural purposes some twenty years ago by the City Council, but now the building has been sold to a Christian organization. A police spokesman said some 300 people had been arrested. The banner reads 'Some things are worth fighting for - the Youth House never surrenders (the address is 69 Jagvejen)'

3 - A group of youths wearing masks and helmets demonstrate in a Copenhagen street December 16, 2006. I have to agree. They are mind blowing when you see em in person. We get those during the spring/summer. They are kind of eerie too, knowing that its mankind versus mother nature.

So heres a few pictures from my trip to The Big Island, Hawaii....

My girlfriend and I. This is atop Mauna (Hawaiian for 'mountain') Kea. I believe its the largest volcano in the world, not sure. It's 14,000 feet above sea level.

Mauna Loa. Another one of the five (i think) volcanoes on the island.

This is just a picture i took that came out kind of cool.

This is a beautiful sunset. If you look real close, there's a tiny sailboat under the sun to the right.

This is Kahuna Falls. 1,085 feet. Inside Akaka Falls State Park. There's tons and tons of flowers, plants, and massive trees and bamboo. Just a beautiful place.

This is a statue of King Kamehameha. The King of all the Islands...

This is a gecko. These are all over the place. This one took up residence in our condo, which according to Hawaiian Legend is good luck.
