& Tazz - NAACP exists to help colored people, as in non-whites. La Raza the same. They imply that minorities have special needs so they group and exclude by race. This is racism even if it's not malicious. There are no groups that publicly advocate for white advancement on the scale of NAACP and La Raza. That would be seen as oppressive in this country.
There are white groups that do the same thing, they are just less publicized. For instance the Freemasons (yes there are freemason and other like organizations that are integrated and ones of particular ethnicities that vary). White people can even get college scholarships for having blue eyes (there are tons of scholarships out there for various ethnicities, traits, socio-economic conditions, etc.). Rhodes Scholars are white. What about the Italian American club? Nothing wrong with it. There is also nothing wrong with black power or pride or brown power or pride or indigenous power or pride or anyone else for that matter. Fred Hampton (RIP) was a great man, he believed in power to all people, even white people- and there was nothing wrong with what he tried to do for people of his same ethnicity - he was a true revolutionary. I didn't know him obviously but I learned a lot from him as well as other real original Black Panthers that I was fortunate to actually know as a youth. Cesar Chaves (AZup), Russell Means, both great men who did a lot for their people and weren't racist, the list is a lot longer. Racism is a problem. Having an organization to assist and further advance a specific ethnicity is not racist. When you try to hold the next man or woman down or think you are better than them because of their ethnicity, that's racist
Now if US taxpayers of all color and creed are having to shell out money disproportionately to advance one ethnicity further than the other, that should be looked into.
