Except Akon actually sings. T-Pain is just electronic r&b; about as good a singer as Ashley Simpson. In my opinion, Akon is becoming this generations Nate Dogg. Not there yet, but soon.

i actually like akon...he's got his own sound, & alotta talent. but i'm not feelin all these collabs with rappers, & his 1st album was garbage (due to weak features & bad production) ...only a few good tracks on it-- "ghetto" & "locked up" ( the SOLO version, fuck having a rapper on an r&b track!), off the top of my head.

i'd like to hear a new album from him, with a more soulful, deeper sound to the beats....no features...& less love/party type tracks.
