RIP Keep It Real Phil. A lot of you didn't know how close he and I were. My mom took him in back in 91 when his trailer park burned down, and he was like a little brother to me. He used to talk about how he got all his game from my dad, and I used to have him on the Murder Block in MillasVille, kickin it with Mac Shawn and the Funk Mobb. Little Bruce helped him write his first rap "White Collars and White Faces", which was a classic song in Vallejo, but didnt make it too far past the city limits. When Phil got popped, my mom ended up in a serious depression, and blamed me for not keepin him out of trouble. Do you guys remember the time MC Hammer called him up to the house in Fremont to to teach Hammers dancers some new moves, and then a few months later, the 2 Legit 2 Quit hand dance came out...Yep...All Phil!!! I still have some unreleased 4 tracks that I want to try to incorporate onto the album!!!!

6...I was planning to release a tribute album and was gonna sk you to use those tracks and keep it exclusive to it, we were planning on packaging a DVD with the album with all the concert footage and interviews...especially the one with E-40 and Phil breaking down how Bay area rap began..that was classic.
