So back in Feb. I had my og 60gb fixed for the YLOD, within a week later the fan gets louder than a jumbo jet coming over the house, I take it back and they couldnt fix the fan problem. Im like whatever, went to GS, got the refurbished 60gb (I just wanted this for the fact that they're rare and bc) with the 2yr warranty for like $350.xx
So I played a little here and there and by that time the PSN outage came around and the PS just stayed parked. So I turned it on bout a couple of weeks back and I get that "system is overheating needs to shutdown to cool off" message. So I knew I had warranty I goto GS this past Saturday and got another 60gb played a lil then I got the fuzzy green screen of death..apparently the video card area died.
Took back..since Im there so often the manager asked..do you even play PS2 games on it Im like naw...well just get the new COD 160gb its the same price as 60gb. Im like ok..so he did some kind of "shit will get me fired if corporate ever finds out" type of adjustments to my receipt where I didnt have to come out of pocket.
I told him I already owned BLOPS so he took it out..opened it gave me the map pack code and traded it for LBP2 (since I didnt own it yet).
So now I own a sleek and slim 160gb PS3
