Rule #1 is never play 1st Gen consoles...they got a million and one bugs in 'em. I only put the Game cd in this photo so no one would think I jacked it from somewhere else. I'll put a Jessica Simpson pic if that would be helpful. lol.
The Walmart I was at ran soooooo smooth. I got in line at 7:30pm and I was number 16. There were the first few in line who slept out for like 45hrs (we had bad thunderstorms down here in the south too). I just chuckled and told them to go wash their azz and go get some pussy one day. ha
But yea...the employee guy would come out every 30min saying there was a misprint in ad...that we are not a metro Orlando store and we only got 2 consoles and 8 rainchecks. The store over by UCF had the Sony truck throwing out games, helicopters, tvstations..all this crap he told us.
He did this all the way up til like 11:30. We didnt have no line at all. Only 10 people behind me and like I said I was 16. 11:30 he had us line up..Im thinkin if he only had 2 w/ 8 rainchecks why is he having all line up. 1-18 got a black wristband..lucky me. 19-26 got the 20GB wristband. He then announced we have these consoles in stock...everybody went nuts. (in a good way). It was handled so well, no line..those who were there went home w/ one. No violence. No shootings. No stampedes. No blood.

also if you look on the back of the xbox by the serial numbers on the sticker. there is a manufracture date (mfr date) and it goes year-month-day. and if the xbox was made before 2006 you can get it fixed for free, just when you talk to them you got to tell them that yours was made before 2006 and that you saw that xbox was fixing all the xboxs made before 2006 for free of charge. ill look for the link to the article that says that.
