No. They kept it in a respectable manner. Having his hologram perform his original song and also performing a track that was really made with snoop. Who cares if he wouldnt stand there with snoop or dre. We dont know that.

If it was 2pac performing one of those garbage tracks that eminem produced with pac saying "G-Unit in the motherfuckin house" with 50 cent on stage, well thats a different story and I would of booed the fuck out of it if I was there.
I'm with roz. Let that man rest in peace.

pac didnt make 2,184 songs so he could rest in peace after he died.he wanted to rock the mic and on ride on fools after his death.i dont know if he would have been in stage with them but i think they did a good job of brining pac on stage in 2012. better than a bunch of pics or the same "throw ya two fingers in the air for 2pac!" show.

I just think this is the beginning of what labels could potentially do to artists, both living and dead. They own their publishing, and they own both video and pictures of artists, so what stops them from making more money off the likes of a Micheal Jackson, Amy Winehouse, or even Whitney Houston in the near future? They could do complete concerts with holographic representations of those artists, and fill their pockets, while the families still live with lose of a family member. I know this is a little off the main topic, but to me I'm sure Dr. Dre, who put this together, made money off it. He's a business man first and I think that's why Tupac didn't respect him. I mean, I'm just giving my take... I still respect everyone else's opinion.

Thats the problem. People think they made money off of this but they didnt make any extra cash. If the Coachella website had "Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre featuring Tupac Shakur in a special Holographic Live Performance!" on the bill, then it would be definitely wrong and I would of been against it.

I hate it when people say, "Will they leave 2pac alone and let the man R.I.P.!" I SMH at those people. I seen a lot of interviews on 2pac and he basically describes why he made all those songs while he was alive. He knew he was going to die young. He wanted his life to live on thru his music. I tip my hat off to Dre and Snoop for keepin 2pacs legacy alive even tho they didnt capitalize off it. This was a surprise to the audience of Coachella. They didnt know it was going to happen thats why they were freaked out and thought that really was Tupac.

I Dont agree with it either. Just another way to make money off this dead man. Would they do this if he was alive? No. Same goes to all the t-shirts and other shit. Im sure we've all seen the video of pac going off on the street vendor for selling bootleg tapes. He would not approve of this i garauntee. Let him REst in piece!!!!

And the fact its dre and snoops idea? Two people pac did not even get down with and let it be known before he passed that he didnt fuk with them makes it even more disrespectful.

And if you think they didnt do it for the money just because they didnt advertise it youre blind. They are doing everything they do for the money. I garauntee in one way or another they got paid. Look at all the attention this has already got. Someone is getting paid

Ok whatever. Who gives a fuck and just enjoy that dope piece of work. This whole world is based on hustling so you cant knock them. The whole subject of Record Labels selling the dead is inevitable. It comes with the territory and its bound to happen. Why dont you kill all those Elvis impersonators in Las Vegas and tell them to let the man Rest In PEEEEACE! **Undertakers Voice**

Well here you go. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304818404577348243109842490.html This tells you that they have tour planned for "him".

And you saying Tupac knew he was going to die young? He also has interviews in the last months of his life where he's asked where he wants to be in the future... and he doesn't say anything that pessimistic. He wanted to live a full life.

its literal power over your image. but i dont think the lables will be able to just fuck off all artists in place of their hologram. there has to be incinitve to sign to a major. they'll always have to be.

buuuuut... yeah the old acts on ex-lables is somethin else.

as far as the actual hologram, Will.I.Am was a hologram on CNN back in the 2008 presidential race. talk, move, all that shit. this one i think is like they make a video game. its like he'd be in Def Jam Vandetta. somebody played the part tho. and i could also be totally wrong.

This might be the thing of the future for more record label bullshit. I can see it right now.

HOLOGRAPHIC LEGENDS TOUR Featuring Michael Jackson, 2pac, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, Buddy Holly, Notorious B.I.G., Guru of Gangstarr, Ol Dirty Bastard and a special appearance from Heath Ledger as The Joker.
