When he was just over a year old my brothers pit started a fight with him while they were playing. Since then he has a distrust for other dogs. He will not even give another dog a chance. He's attitude is like, fuck that I'm going to get off before that MF does. It makes it extremely difficult to take him places.

Any advice? My old lady wants to put him down but I just don't have the heart! He is my ace deuce and I can't imagine having to go through that right now!

watch the dog whisperer i learned a lot of shit from that show, its gonna be a long haul for your dog to rehabilitate cuz u gotta keep putting him in the sitiuation till he gets used to it, shit is hard but if u follow through it should help.

If that doesnt work, you might wanna try a dog behaviorist. Someone who specializes in aggressive dogs. If you dont want to give him up that might be the only option. Just remember positive re-enforcement! alway keep treats with you and award good behavior and correct bad behavior until he understands that good behaviors will get him rewards (affection).
