it seems someones always gonna be sour about something in the background.

even outsiders that have little to do with any of this.

and everyone from a set is gonna be super cautious as they dont want to fall into something they might not be able to get out of

bad blood and little niggas who want stripes, old niggas who cant let past beefs go, there will be individual issues between sets for as long as some people live

i hear alot of fucked up things, and its not my job to correct them

or is it?

if you bang i guess you realize you gotta live by certain rules and i guess that makes life harder. watching your back probably is a hassle all the time but yeah theres people out there that just are gonna say what they say, i heard someone call lp 'lincoln park crips' the other day...

that was someone pretty young....like 19, 20.

theres alot of shady people in this city and i wouldnt put it past anyone

As mentioned, you gotta get your backyard right before you kan fix the neighborhood.

But shit will never be right or the right time. Too many young katz pushing the hate line.

That's why its gotta take moderates to be above the situation.

I agree with the fact that ...number one. Rap is a business....not we are the world..lets unify and hold hands and sing Kumbiya. If I was an artist with a little bit of a name and had a chance of doing somethin being friends with people, and makin new friends aint a priority, unless it benefited my career, and I would be trying to make friends with those who can sign checks, not those waiting in a soup line.
It would be nice if everything was cool between people. As was stated earlier...So and so doing a song with such and such..is on some rap shit. Rap dont dictate whats happening on the streets...so what ya want your favorite artists to be a community activist or a rapper. If you doing your best at trying to become either you cant do both, each one should consume your time.
Also it is hard for people to change. Change dont come easy especially when shit has been engrained in your mind since you was young. How can you shake hands with your brothers killer? Yeah alot of us get older and wiser, but as history demonstrates ..the young fill the position we was once in, now they fill the gap that you moved from.
Personally I dont give a fuck about another artist featuring on an Album. If I buy a Mitch album its because I want to hear mitch...not Lil John, or Kanye West. Its cool to have features if it makes sense for the song,or artist...but to do it to to please a handful of people is some local Fam bam mentality.

i didnt say 211 was on mitch level homie im talking about niggaz who he collabed with and spider is not better than mitch musically but he's getting better man every year on some real shit. you heard 2 bombs they sound tight on that track. you heard paid my dues wit him and jay rock. just like i said why they shouldn't collab i pretty much came with the #1 point.. eastsidaz 20s and insanes and the end result of good talent. tray d ends up going to jail without his solo record ever dropping
too me if big june is tight never heard him rap and he got skills why would he need mitch to blow up him up to get heard down here in southern cali. i mean look at mitch i remember when that nigga went on tour wit quik and tha liks. then he fucked with xzibit he's fucked with w.c. talib kweli c bo killa tay yukmouth e 40 g malone etc list goes on and on..this nigga had a vision for wrongkind he got a list of hungry niggaz who can rap and want to put that shit out. he didnt create a forum talking about hey im about to make this yellow tape cd who should i collab with. real talk.
mitchy track of the day
mitch yukmouth--hate factor

I think this collabo thing is getting splintered in different directions.

Some people say its to help "unify".
Others say its to help blow up other artists.
Others say just to make good muzik (which is where I'm at).

Big June dont need Mitchy Slick to blow up. He does have that name recognition and he is obviously more known outside of the SD region. Personally, I think it would be a dope as collabo.. just from the muzik stand point (my perspective).

The thread said Piru's. Mitchy was talkin about how the out of town Piru's and Damu's perception is that Mitchy doesn't have love for Piru's, not this rapper needs that rapper to blow up. I asked if the muzik (doing collabs wit real Skyline Park Ru's) would be a good way to show solidarity, he gave a G response. So where is all the extra shit coming from? Niggaz is gonna eat regardless. Not doing any collabs wit anybody isnt gonna stop ur dough if ur a real hustler. I just ran in to OG Proball a few days ago and he copped a Mack 2 the Future. To me this muzik could be a stepping stone to help bridge the gaps, but that is just my opinion. Like Mitchy said, what about the niggaz that aint into this rap shit? So until the impossible is made possible, Ru love, Damu love, South East Love.

One day you say Big June is wack..then you say his shits hot. Damn the East is Deep with talent..problem is most of em aint got no drive, and waitin for someone to scoop em up, or their idea of business is distorted from any real world business shit. Theres a gang of wack motherfuckers too, but thats how it is everywhere.

bammmmmmmmmmm, u hit it my nigga...rite on tha dot...............

:cool::cool:

I didnt know much about the CCG thing until recently. I liked their songs, but I kould do without the dissing.

I dont think muzik can change everyone... but if people see some type of change... maybe not the "people directly beefing with each other", but more of people from different sets that really havent gone at it would say something... no matter how small.

the smallest gesture may speak volumes.
